Hey, I have 81 honda 3 wheeler it hesitates when i first give it throttle but runs good after that just wondering any suggestions on why there is hesitation, i adjust carb, but has alittle hestition still?

i would go get a high power spark plug to help a bit because 2 strokes are just boggy maybe change fuel mixture and slowly ajdust your carb

 

What are you working on? 110? 185? 200?
I would lower the clip 1 to 2 positions on the needle and see what that does.

The older carbs are not pumper carbs so you have to have them a touch rich to get rid of the bog on the bottom.

 

Thanks guys, ya it is an 81 honda 3 wheeler, it runs pretty good, just a little hesitate, at the start I think i need to run it abit its been sitting for a while i just bought it, and havent put any time on it yet,,

 

okay I will try that, i didnt know you could get a higher power plug, i just put what they called for, but i will check it out
