Ok, I have 2 options and need some input. I have options to buy one of 2 trx250r's. The first is an 86 that is in decent shape, fmf exhaust, nerf bars, basic stuff. They are asking about $1200. The second is an 88 with curtis sparks exhaust, paddle tires, nerf bars, also in decent shape. I can get that one for $1900 but its a little bit of a farther drive for me, about 100 dollars worth of gas. Now my question is: Which one would be a better deal? All opinions are welcome. Thanks for the input in advance.

 

Get both! 250Rs are a hoot to ride. I have an '86 currently, good stuff either one, but it might be slightly easier to find things like nerfs for the 88 if you ever need new later on.
Personally, I would go with the one that was better maintained.
