Ok I have a 2000 Beartracker which is good machine but, my alot of my friends ride sports. I found a great 97 300ex for 3,300 or so I plan on trading my tracker in, do you think this is a good move. The ex looks mint other than faded plastic.

What tires are good for a 300ex/250x and willl last awhile?

Don't know about your quad choice, depends on where & how you ride. But I think the price sound alittle high. Did a search in trader mags and found them to be around $4000 for 2000 models. Can't see saving $700 for 3 to 4 yrs worth of use. Look around for a better deal, you can always go back in a day or two & get that one.

Yea unless it has about 1500 dollars worth of mods, go find another one. I see used 2000's and 99's going for about $2800-3000 here.(stock)

I bought my 2001 300ex, slightly used, for only $3500 bucks. I had to drive a few hours to get it, but for the price.... There are lots of great deals out there on 300ex's, people want 400ex's now. Do some shopping, you will find a great deal out there.
