Default Foreman 400 electrical problem

Hello all I have a 1998 foreman 400 and have an electrical problem that I hope someone can help with. None of the electrical components work, (Lights, winch, elec start) until I pull start it or jump the solenoid,(thats how I know its not the battery). Even once its started the winch and neatral lights don't work. Whats funny is when I hit the yellow switch for the lights (have to do it a couple times to get them to work) then the neatral light and the winch will work, and I can also hit the start button and you can hear the starter spin, but when I turn the light switch off they stop working. I have tried cleaning the connections, checking fuses, and making sure I have a good ground, has anybody had or seen this problem and tell me how to fix it, thanks for the help. Oh and one more thing when I shut the engine off, It will not have lights or anything again please help it gets annoying pull starting it or taking the seat off to jump the solenoid. Thanks again.
