Has anyone been checked for noise levels and for a SA at atv riding areas dunes and poker runs????

I have a full race motor which is very loud and there is a poker run coming up and I don't want to be able not to participate in the event because of the spark arrestor and noise level. I don't want to take the long trip for no reason.

Come on sombody has to know somthing. Has ANYBODY heard of people checking for noise levels!

We went to Marienville "Tour De Forest" a couple of years ago - they had Park Rangers inspect ALL quads before registration. The ride was on State land, so they had the jurisdiction to do it. Guess it all depends on where the ride is, and what the rules are.

We also went to GNCC race where they busted my buddy for no spark arrestor and being toooo LOUD. They had a decibal meter to check the noise.
