Honda 125 backfiring

Hi. I just recently got a honda 125 '87. It ran fine the day i got it for a good 30 mi before it started backfiring. it usually backfires only if im going up. any help would b appreciated thanks!

are the bolts tight on the header?, did you put on a pipe ? is there a hole in the pipe???

I figured it out. The 4 nuts that hold the rear tires in place were loose, so it wasnt actually backfiring although it sounded alot like it. Thanks!
