Is it pretty easy to pull the old axle and put a new one in? Do you loosen the nuts, take off the hubs, brake assembly and then pull it out from the brake side of the atv? Let me know if I am going about this right thanks.

 

What quad are we talking about? Any of them are fairly easy, just several steps involved. But yes, it is a DIY job for most weekend wrench turners.

I suggest you get a Clymer or Honda Service Manual.

 

Will it be about the same process as an 07 rancher? I have got the book for that one.
