What does everyone think of the rancher 4x4 I may buy one soon and would like to hear from owners. Do they have a better limited slip diff than the other brands.

All I can say is BUY it. I really like mine, it is not a sport quad but it is still fun to ride fast with in reason!

Toby,

I also own a Rancher & its a great ATV. 1100 miles & zero problems, except for a couple of fender rivets that needed replacing after a tree & I had a disagreement.

If you can wait, which is hard, the 2002 models of the Rancher might have the ability to shift in & out of 4wd from the factory.

Hey Tobi,

I've had my racher about a month now and it's a great ride. Just the right size and it has the honda reliability (that's a big plus). My sugestion is to get the 4X4.

I love mine, great ride, good power, fun in the mud. they only draw back, no 2wd mode but hey, Highlifter is correcting this as we speak (they are releasing an "unlocker" so you can run the rancher in 2wd)

I have had my rancher since last summmer, there are 500 miles on it and 80.1 hours, I have had NO trouble, except some popped rivits from hitting trees, I have had that thing through hell and have no problems what so ever. BUY IT you will NOT be disappointed.

Just my 2 cents.
