i have a 2005 honda 400ex and wondered if the 400ex cams are interchanable?,and which big bore kit is better the 426 or 440 ?

 

get the 426 kit 10:1 if your not wanting problems,and yes all the 400ex cams are interchangeable,the 440 kit is more trouble than its worth in my opinion but there are ways to make them reliable its just gonna cost you more $$$,also consider the 416 its a good kit too,and while your in the motor put a crf450 cam chain in it there only 35 bucks and its a direct drop in with no modifications,the stock 400ex cam chain are weak and the bigger piston will put more strain on the motor so it would be a good idea to buy this
