I think you need to reread your specs or there may be a misprint. There is no way a 250ex is just as fast as a 300ex in a drag race or anywhere. Your not thinking about the 250x and 300ex are you? cuz those two are close.

Pretty soon all there will be is the 250ex and the 400ex. I give the 300ex another year, tops.

The 250EX is the most pointless quad I have ever seen. Why would anyone buy one? What does it offer that the 300EX doesn't? Auto clutch, come on...

If your willing to, buy a 400ex, i might get one soon, the 250ex is just to damn slow. I think that the 250ex is a better trail bike than the 300 because of its autoclutch. This is my opinion and whatever you guys say wont change my mind so dont go defending you 300's.

Get the 300ex. It will fit a bigger rider better than the 250ex will and trust me the 250ex will not beat the 300ex. One of my buds got one and I blow him away by at least 2 and a half bike lengths everytime. Good luck in what ever you choose.

2 and a half bike lengths is not blowing him away. For these 2 quads it woulg depend on expireance, wieght and all that jazz. And the 250EX will wheely without an effort but if u want bigger just yank the bars. Its that easy.

a 250ex is a baby bike for a 10 year old. i hope your not any older then that. GEEZ, i got rid of a 400ex cause it was too slow. the 300ex is an awesome trail bike and will slay a 250 ex>>> no doubt. it is by far one of the best trail bikes out. it is comparable to a warrior and a 250x ,not a freakin 250ex. you can get a 330 kit if you get bored with the power of the 300ex and you will do some smokin. you will chew up and spit out stock 400ex's with that kit in. dont even think about the 250ex,,,, i wouldnt even buy it for my girlfriend.

Oh sure you raced a 250EX against a 300EX. If you haven't than you have nothing to say!

I am also a proud owner of a 2001 250 EX, this bike is just awesome. Lets stop all the bashing. Save that for the Yamaha's. The 250 EX will pretty much keep up with the 300 EX. In the end the 300 will win, duh, cause its a bigger engine.
Im not into all the engine mods and stuff like that. I just like to go out and have fun. This bikes top speed is 54 miles and hour, and without a roll cage, thats plenty dam fast for me. Be proud your an EX rider and quit worrying about how big it is or who is faster. LETS JUST ALL GET ALONG. Muskeg420...Colorado baby....Rocky Mountain HI...
