dirt devils

When you say "O.K.", does that mean you're happy with them, or are they just a so-so tire. I'm looking at them as well, for use in the mountains of Colorado (no flats needed there), but have also looked at the Bearclaws. I'm not looking for a Louisiana mudder, but want a good all-around tire for trails, some mud, snow, rocks, river crossing, some sandy terrain (not dunes), and tough!

I think there a very good all around tire! I have a set of 25 inchers on a 01 4x4 scrambler. I have been running them all winter long, I ride every weekend 20to25 miles. There better then the Goodyears that on my sportman in all situations BUT!!!one. I have had a flat on the dirt devils an there not driveable. The Goodyears you wouldn't know untill you check the air presser. They act like a run flat tire. My favorit type of riding is "to go where no man has gone before" and the dirt devils are the ones for that. And a can of FIXAFLAT!!

I also have the dirt devil tires on my 300 4x4. In my opinion they are an excellent all around tire. I ride in the appalachian mountains of southeast kentucky, virginia, west virginia, and east tennesee, so a lot of the terrain we ride on will be close to the same thing. My only complaint is they aren't always the best mud tire, but 90% of the mud I go through is silty strip mine run off and there isn't much that goes through that stuff.
The bearclaws are also a good choice in tire. My friend has them on his 300 4x4. If it helps in aiding your decision he says that the next set of tires he gets will be dirt devils. I don't personally know why, but he said he just liked them better.
