He gave you an AIR filter? Or oil filter? Anyway, the stock air filter will do fine. Just keep it oiled with that sticky, nasty, air filter oil. At some point though, it will get soft and crappy. Then get a UNI air filter. They really do a great job for $30 or so.

Make sure you put your oil filter in the right way. They are directional, the filter will be marked.

Thanks guys. Yes I will make sure to put oil filter in correct. Im going to clean the air filter and re grease even thought it looks clean. Ill change the oil and going to throw a new battery in it. The stock tires - should i run them at 4psi? Im not going to get new ones till these are gone.

Tire pressure depends on conditions. I'd run 5 for soft or sandy trails and 6 if they are hard packed.

Any other thoughts on psi for stock tires. I ride trails, so could be hard or soft mud, and also along river could be rocks to sand.

I run 5 pounds.
And the stock air filter is good, UNI makes the stock air filters for Honda
You say you are going to clean and "grease" the filter? I hope you don't mean actual grease, get some spray filter oil.
