Does anyone remember what the results were for the 400EX pipe shootout in the March 2001 issue of Dirtwheels?

They liked them all but they picked the White Brothers E-series pipe.

 

White Bros. E-Series tied with CT Racing for the most HP, but the WB was 6 or 7 dB quieter...

that's a big difference? I think it was lighter also...

I personally would get the Pro Circuit T-4 silencer... it was one of the lightest, one of the quietest, yet still had a good HP gain.

 

WOW, the t-4 was one of the quiet ones of the shootout! I have a t-4 and i think it is really loud. i keep my ex at my brothers house and i could ride up and down the street a few times to test it out or warm up when it was stock but now forget it, he doesn't let me anymore because of the noise and his neighbors complained. How did the t-4 do overall in the shootout?
