Default 250ex wheel size

I'm looking for rear tires for my 250ex and i'm looking at the Kenda Klaw XC which come in both 20x11x9 and 22x11x9 so im wondering the pros and cons to going smaller for the rear tires since the stock was 22s.

thanks for any feedback provided.

I would stick with the 22s. You don't want to lose what little ground clearance you have.

I would personally go with 20". You will lose an inch of ground clearence but the 20's will handle so much better and be worth it in my opinion. I switched to 20" holeshots back when I had my 250ex.

Pros: Lower gearing/better acceleration, better handling

Cons: Less ground clearance = less ability in ruts and mud

I have never ran Klaws, but some Kendas tend to run on the small side(i.e that 22" tire may be closer to 21") from what I have seen. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in so you can make a more informed decision.

I'm going to try the 21x11x9 Sedona Bazookas.

20's look better and your handeling will be better as well.

On a sport quad +1 in the front is always suitable (ex.: 19's on back → 20's should be in the front)

I've seen the sedonas before, not my favorite, not very agressive. Sort of like a holeshot. I go for the Razr II style. GBC X-rex tires are cheap, 6-ply... I checked at Sam's Club, they have the GBC's, $47 for a front tire!! Exact tred as a razr II too !

look good on quads to!
