i cant find the leak i was curious if there are common areas that leak with that year, and also my fan doesnt wanna kick on for more than a few seconds im adfraid i will over heat my motor and we all know that no good. and also i have one more question i pulled off my intake k&n filter and there was oil in the intake what could the cause of this be?

I don't have any personal knowledge of leaky areas with the trx. If it is only leaking externally there aren't to many places it could be coming from. How bad is the leak? Is your oil good, or milky?
As for the filter, could it be from over oiling the K&N? Or is it definitely used motor oil blowing back into the intake?

Only a few things cause oil blowback into the air box.
1. overfilling the oil sump when changing/adding oil
2. worn piston/rings allowing combustion chamber pressure to push into crankcase, pushing oil out breather.
3. plugged breather that causes the crankcase to build up pressure and finally blow it out.
The coolant loss could be the sign of a head gasket starting to go, which could also let pressure into you crankcase, but usually, bad head gaskets let coolant into the oil, making the "milky" oil Scooter referred to.
I would do a cold and hot compression check and see where you are at, you realize these hi-po 450 engines require a LOT more care, and rebuilds on a regular basis, due to the tiny profile piston and high rpms they run at. could be you are just due for a top end kit.
As far as your fan, if you are losing coolant, then there could be air trapped in the lines, causing your temp sensor to act funny, or it just could be bad, if you have a meter, you could remove the fan switch and put it in a pan of water, heat it up to the rated temp, and see if it turns on and stays on as long as its at the set temp.

How does your spark plug look?
Have you done a compression check?
Does the ATV have any power? Smoke coming out of the exhaust?
Few questions you need to answer... I would change all fluids bone dry, rad, engine oil etc.
Buy or clean air filter, fix the fan issue or connect it directly at least during thia testing period.
Like someone else stated, check the breather for the crankcase is not plugged.
