you should be keeping up with a warrior now..they don't have much on a 300ex

it depends on where you want to keep up ? in a drag? track? trails?

the only place the EX should be behind is in the drag race.

for this you need a little more than 500..

239 for supertrap
90 for hi comp piston
90 for a cam
80 for a CDI mod
20 for a UNI filter

Then drill some holes in the air box, and rejet!

And you will have a lot more power.
