Would a Aftermarket CDI box be a good mod for my 250X, what do they do, what kind should i get, where to get it, i know nithing about these so any help is GREAT!!!

 

What they do is allow your engine to rev higher say from 9500rpm to 10500rpm. What kind is more a matter of price, check around you can save some money by looking around before you buy. It is only worth it in my opinion if you have had some engine work done where you would be hitting the rev limiter quicker and more often. If you haven't had any work done than save your money and get some mod that will actually add power.

 

I am looking for an aftermarket cdi box also, but i dont know who makes them..
