If you dont get the correct amount of links your going to need a chain breaker (harbor freight has em). To install the master link i use a small pair of vise grips and i put a nut in between the link end so the pin can go through. I alternate nice and easytill the master is in then use a screwdriver to pop the link clip on

If you don't have one, invest in a chain breaker. Saved more than a few weekends of riding by having that and some spare links in the tool box.

Well, it's on, will see how she holds up this weekend! I know it's gonna stretch a little first few rides to break in, but after that it should in theory be golden for a few years anyway. Also got my spark arrestor in too, gotta have that! Hate the reduced sound it puts out, but better than a million dollar forest fire.
