you may have to cut the bolt head off of pivot bolt and drive it through from that side. i had to do a 400z like that.

Actually I got it out a couple weeks ago. Had to cut a section out of the bolt slide the motor over and cut the bolt off on the other side as well. Then left the motor out and popped the one side of the bolt in then moved the other side enough to get the swinger out and pounded the other side of the bolt out. It was a pain, but it is done now. The new bolt will go in doped up with Anti-Seize or grease so this won't happen again.

So how important is it to get the rockers hard faced? Is my motor now modded enough that I should? I hear that some modded motors this is needed. I think I am going to order new double spring valve springs too.

Do you have any pictures or info on how to do the cooler mod? I have been scouring the web for pics on how it is done and have not come up with any. All the links are old and expired/don't pop up. I just don't want to pay $130 for a cooler I can buy for $25. I am very willing and capable to do this mod drill and tap the case and all so long as I know where I am drilling and tapping.

I did the same think on my old Warrior and it made a HUGE difference on that. But for that it was just adding a cooler.

Any way, still waiting to get my jug back so no new news on this.

I shifted this way with every bike or quad I have ever had. Never hurt anything. Some will disagree with me but that's just my experience.

Default Back to work!!!

Friday I was finally able to continue on my quest slightly of getting this thing back together and ready to ride again.

Shop called and my cylinder was ready to pick up so went down there to spend a little loot.......

Picked up my 11:1 Compression Pistion, fresh bored cylinder, oil, filter, couple new plugs, and couldn't resist a nice shiney new helmet...

Got home and saw that Santa Claus must have stopped by while I was gone. This was sitting on my front step....

As long as I have had this thing and been messing with it one of the back tires would never hold air. Decided it was time to find out why. Pumped it up and found air seeping around the rim. Actually the worst rim leak I have ever seen.

Quick trip to the tire shop and had them pop of the tires (decided to do both) showed why that was leaking......

Going to hit those with a bead blaster and get them all cleaned up, fresh paint inside and out. Hopefully that will take care of that issue. Both rims could use a little TLC so I am going to blast both, and paint both. Going to also straighten out the beads a little on them...

Man that looks like a ton of fun work ahead. Oh, about the helmet.... Make sure you take that film off before you ride.
