400ex valve question
#1
So picked up a 400 and here's the thing, A lot of valve chatter starts and runs good, But by my thought has a lot of valve chatter, so opened it up to adjust. one exhaust valve seems to have a mis jump to it and when i got to adjust depending on rotation still seems to change, I have started it with the cover open and it also seems too be much deeper than the other 3 of the depth as in it coud be pulling through, not as in less as in carbon, Ive heard of rockers sticking but this side is odd, when I run it around with a ratchet is all good when i start it it seems to jump and tick like hell? is it pulling through? just wondering if anyone else has seen this or opinions, I'm gonna run the **** out of it tomorrow as it is a honda and see what happens before I go out of town but just wondering opinions? I'm not new to setting valves or any motor work I just don't want to hear the worst, I hope its just carbon
