atv sport mag. did a shootout with these bikes about a year ago. you could order a back issue and check it out. in the shootout the 300ex beat the mojave in every catagory except price.there will be die hard kawi fans who will tell you otherwise.

the one thing atv sport said in the artical was, with the money you save buying the mojave, you could use it to buy some after market parts to beat the 300ex.

 

funny how different the answers are in the kawi and honda forum to the same question isn't it.
Do not put any stock in what the mags say. they will tell you a 250ex is better than a raptor next.

 

I have owned both and ridden both(well I own a 250x which is pretty much the same thing as the 300ex).

I still like the Honda better. The main thing I dont like about the Mojave is the suspension... It doesn't work very well...

Dont get me wrong, the Mojave is a good quad...

Another thing is the Mojave is liquid cooled. I would rather not worry about extra stuff like that....

When it comes down to it, If you plan on doing any type of racing, definately get the 300ex. If not get the cheaper one.... You'll be happy with either if you just cruise the trails.
