How do you remove the drive belt assembly cover after the bolts have been removed, to access the clutch?

checkout these parts of cover in photo...IMO If you have all of the small bolts out then the cover should come off,may have to force alil because the inner and outer cover mates inside of each other to make an good seal

The engine compartment doesn't have enough room for the cover to come off?

Have to remove the three small screws holding the the rear fender flap to the foot well to have enough room to pry the cover out from under the fender, plus you need to remove the exhaust duct tube at the top.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Plus on some models it's just as easy to remove the foot well itself to have room to pull the cover.
