i have a Honda trx250ex and i don't want to break open the crankcase to change the oil screen. Is there any non synthetic oil i can put in it for a while to clean it out?

 

No. I don't believe there is anything that will adequately clean that short of taking it out and doing it by hand. If you think about it, where would the crud go if it isn't on the screen anymore? While I don't have a 250, at least on the 90 all you need is a new gasket, some solvent, and a clean rag or two. It isn't really a huge job.

 

well then does anyone know the best oil for a 250ex?

 

I ust use the Honda stuff.
