First the good news:
I got the exhaust on without anything rubbing and no leaks.
I was able to try it this weekend, I've got one thing to say on performance. SWEEET! It makes the throttle response instant and you can hold a gear longer without bogging.

Now for the bad news:
Due to the pipe sticking out too far, I melted my boot. A spot about the size of a half-dollar. I was pissed! I don't like having to worry where my feet are when I ride. I ordered a heat shield from James Lucky. They say it works with any aftermarket pipe. We'll see.

If anybody has any ideas or past experiences please feel free to share them.

Well I am actually going to use this to solve a different problem with my LRD exhaust, but you should try some header wrap. ONe of my friends that races has a yz426f with a pro circuit T-4 that was eating all of his $140 pants, so he solved this by wraping this header. hope this helps-
