Call TimmyBoy Designs. They can retube your stock one out of 4130 Chromely. They did my Raptor's for $125.00. Excellent workmanship. Has already survived a rollover.

Freind of mine rolled his side over side about a 100 feet. it only bent the stem, no plastic damage or nothin. He went to a Honda dealer and stock wasn't that bad. He happened to find a used one that someone had swapped out for a aluminum one. check with local shops to see if they know of anyone.

you can order them from service honda and I think they are like $42 (well thats for a 400ex). But the stock ones are soft, but if you dont have the money for a better one, $42 is cheap.

Good luck at service. I heard they are still on national backorder. I have one I'd part with for $70.00 + shipping though.

I really hate when people try to rip other people off, esepically when its within the same sport.

You are trying to sell a used steering stem for 70+shipping???? When they sell new for $45.81+shipping. Thats just ignorant. Even if they were on backorder that is you trying to get over on people.

BTW..my buddy just ordered his 2 weeks ago and it came in last week.

First of all it's not used. I have 2 brand new ones still in the box. Retail is $63.35, I don't think $70 is so bad for something that is in limited supply. Supply and demand. Would you sell a brand new one to me for exactly what it cost youwith the chance you may not be able to replace it right away??? I don't think so, but if you will I'll take 2. Thanks, now I'll have 4 of them when no one else can get them. Think about it and reply. We'll see who's ignorant in a couple months!!

yep I twisted mine too. It is still ridable but only turns so far to the right.

And to the above post,,thanks I know the supply/demand curve quite well already. Yes you are right than when supply is low and demand is high this will raise the price of an item.

But I still think its ignorant of you to try to make money off of people that are in your sport. I have the attitude 'oh, someone needs a steering stem and they can't find one?, well i have a couple laying around so I would tell them to just give me what i have in them'.

And they are available for $45 and less,,,unless you want to pay the $65 ripoff of the dealer.
