Yesterday I was at Silver Lake dunes and was using the required safety flag. At the end of the day I was surprised to notice that my flag was gone. Not only was the flag gone but so was the mounting flange on the subframe. The flange literally tore loose at the weld and now I have a gapping hole in the tubing. Now I need to rig up some new means to mount a flag. Anyone else have this happen?

Never seen that on any bike. There are clamp on flag mounts available. Dirt bikers use them because often bikes don't come with a tab welded on.

My buddies did the same thing. He clamped an alu. bracket across both sides of the grab bar with a hole in the middle.
