Got a question. I have a 2001 450s and love it. My question is if I put the K&N filter kit offered by hi-lifter will it effect how my machines starts. I know I'll have to adjust the idle but if it turns it into power machine thats cold blooded and doesn't start well it's not for me. Anyone thats been there done that please respond.Tks.

I have a 2000 450ES and I installed a K&N Filter , Jet Kit and a Supertrapp pipe .... NOW its a cold blooded PIG for lack of any other terms. It will start in the cold no problem but only with a bit of priming. Before the upgrade I didnt have to prime at all in the cold weather ... Small price to pay for the performance enhancement though in my opinion.
