Hi, I recently purchased a 2005 Honda 400ex. It has an HMF jet kit and slip on HMF exhaust. It needed carb work so I cleaned the carb, and reassembled it. After this is ran great. The next morning I went out and realized the air box was flooded with gas and oil so I drained everything out. Some of my buddies to me to get a carb rebuild kit so I did and rebuilt it. I then changed the oil and cleaned the spark plug and it ran great. It runs well when the motor is cool but after it gets slightly heated up it begins cutting out at higher RPMs. The overflow tubes from the carb also leak gas for awhile after every time I drive it. Any suggestions? Should I Re-Jet it back to stock? New spark plug? Take it to dealer? Any help appreciated, thanks.
