I thought I remember reading somewhere that the 400EX is putting about 28 hp to the wheels. Is this pretty accurate? My cousin just bought one about a month ago and I'm trying to gather info for him.

Thanks

There's dyno readings all over the web with the average reading being 27 RWHP for a stocker with the throttle adjusted correctly.....

Did you make sure the throttle's were adjusted correctly.... Almost every 2000 on 400EX I have seen has gained SIGNIFICANT power from making the proper adjustment.

Heck, when mine was new, It would barely give a properly tuned 300EX a run for it's money. Then I fixed the throttle and all was well with the world.
