Good Deal?

I am Looking at buying a 2007 400ex.
This 2007 400ex has nice nerf bars and a front bumper. The plastic looks nice and because its a 2007 it has reverse.
Its listed for 2,500
Is this a good deal? what should I offer?

Hard to tell because machines go for different prices depending how popular they are in different areas of the country. The real key is how well the machine has been maintained!! The 400 EX is a great machine and if well maintained they run a long time, lots of aftermarket stuff for them also if your into that. If that was in my area that price would be about right or just a pinch low if the bike was really taken care of...Price depends also on how much demand for that model and it really boils down to how bad you want it! If it is truly a nice, well taken care of bike it won't last long...

Also, how long has it been for sale and how motivated is the seller? A machine that has been for sale for a while and a motivated seller usually means some room to haggle on price. If its really nice, I'd offer $2000 and work from there, could probably meet somewhere in the middle.

Ok, thanks for the replys. It has only been listed for sale 1 week. Im going to look at it tomorrow because it sounds like a good deal and don't want anyone else to grab it first.
Any other suggestions/info are still helpful

Alright, so last night I text the the guy with the quad if I could come today. I was nervous because he said he already had someone coming to look at it a 9. This morning, I got a text that said the other guy had to reschedule for later today and I can see it first! Im going to leave in about 10 minutes. Lets hope everything works out!
