I recently tipped my Rancher over riding and now the gas tank & gauge is off centered to the left. I took off the Black plastic cover held on by 4 of the plastic pins and noticed the only 1 side of the plastic cover had the foam rubber the follows the curve of the fuel tank. Is this normal or am i missing the foam piece?

 

Mine is the same. It doesn't sound critical.

 

Once you remove any plastic....nothing will ever line up again.
