300EX and 250EX comparison

I heard that the 250EX is pretty close to the 300EX's speed but im not sure. Please help me out with the info

The 250 is sprung rather TIGHT, where the 300 is much more plush. The top speed of the two might be close, but you can ride the 300 faster because of the better suspension!
