250R VS 400EX

That is Depending on what U are doing.If I was trail riding all the time I would go for the 400ex.Even If I raced a few times.
For racing I would go with the 250r.U can mod both of them WAY up.The R will respond better to engine mods thanks to being a 2 stroke.
As for reliablity obviosly the newer bike is going to have less wrong with it.If they where both maintained properly.Parts just wear out,bearing go bad,etc.I hvae an 86 trx250r and it is very reliable.Sure some parts are worn but that is to be expected after 15 years of hard life.
Like I said the 400ex trail and the R for race.
