Banshee or 250r?
#1
hey, i have a 87 decked out banshee that is the fastest quad around where i live. i dont know weather to keep it or get a honda trx250r. chances are i wont be racing, because we have a 86lt250r race ready. but i was wondering if you guys think it would be worth me selling my banshee and getting a honda 250r. ive put alot of time and work in my banshee, but i feel that i would like a 250r because i love my lt250r. just let me know what you guys think, if im wasting my time and money getting a 250r when i already have a kick azz banshee. is it worth it?

Depends on what you're into I guess.
A 250R won't be any faster than your Banshee unless it has major mods, but it is a WAAAY better overall machine in mine and most others opinions. The handling of an R blows a Banshee away - they are AWESOME on an MX track.
Also, I can't take my R somewhere and not have someone offer to buy it. They are collectors items sort of like a Vette or a Grand National. If you look around and get one at a decent price you can ride it a few years and then sell it for what you have in it. I doubt you will be able to do that with your Banshee.

ok, i think i made up my mind, i'll find a 250r cause im more into the mx then trail riding, and yeah i know the 250r's arent the fastest for the drag strip, but ive had my pride with the banshee already and it gets old beating so many newer quads. well hopefully i'll be able to find one, and who knows maybe i'll end up keeping the banshee too, 3 quads, LT250r, trx250r, and the banshee, i'd be set

I'm partial to the 250R, especially since I traded my Raptor for one. Also, 87r is right. Anytime I've got it out in public, it gets A LOT of attention! You don't see nice ones that often and Banshees are a dime-a-dozen, regardless of how fast they are.
