Default Honda 250 recon tappet screw

Hello all, i have a 2005 honda recon 250 that has been leaking oil, after looking at it, i noticed a tappet screw on the front of the engine that is loose. Anyone know what this is for and how to adjust? Thanks

Your welcome I cant remember the thread pitch BUT I think 8mm by 1,25 threads the nut may help tighten up the oring on the other side of case
