I finally got the R put back together and took some pictures of it in between the rain. I ordered new Holeshots today so maybe soon I can try it out somewhere other than my neighborhood .

The direct link is below. Click on the '1988 250R' folder. There are 26 pictures, so be sure to click on "Show All" or they will not all show up. Let me know what you think...

Wow! By far one of the cleanest, more beautiful machines I have ever seen. I envy you!

Thanks for the compliment, robg.

However, I can't take much credit for it since I simply traded my brand new, fully loaded Raptor for it (which took some guts, I guess) and then took it apart and cleaned it up some.

That is one sweet machine. I would say the trade was worth it. You ought to submit some pics to the various magazines (dirtwheels). How does it run?

Thanks, Motomike400EX. The bike runs great. It's definately an eye watering machine. Top end it's only a little faster than my Raptor, but it feels like it gets there a whole lot quicker. I'm considering going w/ a 14 tooth sprocket in the front (instead of the 13) because it raps up SO quick in each gear and it feels like it can easily pull more.

BTW, who do you think makes the best 310/330 kits?

what kind of pipe do you have?
it looks like a paul turner type6.
if it is how do you like the pipe, what kind of gains did you get, etc.....
