new detroit unlocker
#2
Jake,
I talked to highlifter last week and the guy told me that they were going to release it for my rancher in june/july. The delay is due to the actual production of the units, not the design itself(so im told?). But anyway to answer your question I think he said about $375.00 give or take $50. I am going to wait a 3-6 mths to see how the unit holds up on other guys quads.

Since the 2002 Foreman 450 still has the standard Limited-Slip front diff (there is no misprint on the Honda website) I would say that the new Trax-lock will fit into the older Foremans as well. Hopefully they will make available a retro-fit kit. The Trax-Lock unit replaces just the front driveshaft and is electronically switched. It is also a switch on the fly unit which I don't believe the H/L unit is. Cost for the Honda unit? Who knows. H/L's unit is about $400.00.

I called HL yesterday, and the unlocker for Honda
will be out soon . I asked about my 97 wolverine
and he said august, and the price was $450.00
On my bike he said that the front drive shaft will
be replaced with theirs, It will have a slide operation on their drive shaft controlled by a cable slide mounted on the bike...also engaugement
and disengaugement can be done on the fly....
