What are the most important modifications that a new Rancher requires........??

 

C,mon people the Rancher is bound to have something on it that can be improved with all the aftermarket parts out now!

 

Your question is hard to answer... What is important to you, may not be important to others. It's up to you to decide what is the most important mod.

 

1st mod i did to my Rancher 4x4es was a Warn winch
Next will be to replace the 2ply stock tires with something stronger (Leaning towards either Mudrunners or Bearclaws in 25in)and adding a skid plate

 

I think i would go with the winch first myself

 

Having owned a Rancher, since very early after introduction, I'd say a winch is important closely followed by better tires.

It seems to be rock solid and very reliable. It's not a 400ex and it wasn't bought for the speed, so those mods are not that important. However, as time goes along I will make a K&N filter mod.

 

I have found out already that I don't like the factory tires,..............so I will most likely get some tires first. Then I will probaly get a dyno jet kit and a pipe later. Anyone tried a pipe on your Rancher?

 

When I got my rancher i got a warn winch and im sure glad i got it. I want the UNLocker next.

 

Get a winch, NEW TIRES, skid plates, a arm/cv boot guards (a must)

 

I installed these mods in this order:

1) Winch
2) Tires - Mudrunners
3) K&N, Dynojet, IDS II exhaust
