New Sport quad? 'XR'600EX, 'XR'650EX or a 'CRF'450EX

with the thinning posts about a new sport quad, what does everyone else think is gonna be released??? who would really want a 600 or 650 cc engine from the XR line that is air cooled? or would a CRF450 engine be better.... hmm I, myself believe that Honda will stick the CRF450 engine into the 400EX frame, do some trimming and cutting and come out with a whooping 450EX with reverse or a 6 speed tranny... i would push with a reverse over the 6 gears... the 650XR engine makes about 50-60 hp right? when the CRF450 makes 55 hp at the crank... i'm sure to almost positive the CRF450 engine could be even more competitive in a quad frame then the 400EX, Raptor, 250R, or the banshee... no one can be positive what Honda will release, (well unless your with the company and are working on it) the only thing that will prove it is time and i'm saving up $$$ for the time

Dood, you don't need the six gears. Reverse with a 5 speed will be nice, but not reverse with a 6 speed. You just don't need that 6th gear. They even said they could of made the DS 650 with a 4 speed. KTM makes the 520sx with a 4 speed and its one of the baddest 4-strokes out. Also the XR650R is liquid cooled, not air. And I think the xr650R motor would be better because its a torque monster, and you want lots of torque in a quad. Thanks,Joe
