Shocks on 250X to 250R?

Will my Work's from my 250X fit a 250R. I would like to purchase a R, but would not like giving up the $1000 I put into shocks earlier this year. If not engine mods to come in the winter season.

They are different. I remember looking in a catalog and seeing that the 300ex's and 250r's had different length shocks in stock form.

They only make a kit to put 250r shocks on a 250x/300ex i haven't seen one that does the opposite. i do know that they are shorter than a honda 250r shock
