I'm looking for my first quad. I am partially disabled and have been looking for a reliable quad. Everyone I talk to says "Honda". I am 6'2 and 240 lbs and was concerned about it being too small for me though. I plan to plow snow with it, hunt, and recreational riding. Automatics scare me, I read to many problems with the auto's. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm smaller than that, but my buddy is around 6'4" 280lbs. and he just loves mine. The main reason why is because you sit up nice and straight on it. Hope this helps

I doubt that it would be too small for you. I am 6'1", 235 lbs. and have not had a bit of problem. The Honda has a little stiffer suspension than most quads, which is better for us "bigger" riders. My wife rides with me reguarly and she weighs about 140. There is plenty of suspension travel and we have plenty of leg room. Go to your local dealer and try one out, you wont be dissappointed.

I've got a 450S and I love it. I'm 6'2" around 300 and I have no problems on it. Plenty of power and I can still play around on it. My wife and dog(English bulldog) ride with me sometimes and it still pulls fine, with plenty of leg room.

Greetings,

I'm 6'2" and 130 lbs and the 450 fits me like a glove. I don't know what anyone would do with more power and the traction has been great even in the snow (I don't do a lot of deep mud). The ES is the perfect combination of automatic convenience with the gear choice of a standard. And I really like having floorboards -- one less thing to deal with in a lot of situations.

I've heard high praise of the Tracter for some disabilities because you don't have to swing your leg over the gas tank to mount it. Just a thought.

Thanks,

Rod

I am 6'2" and my dad is 6'4", and it fit fine for both of us. With exception to some of the sport models, you will find that just about any Honda "fits like a glove" and will feel like everything is in the right place.

I just bought a 450s about a month ago and I love it. I'm 6'2" 210lbs and it fits and feels good. Very comfortable to me. There are so many closely matched ATV's out there it's really a hard decision.

Howdy! I have had my 450es for approx. 2 months and have no problems. I am 6'2" 160lbs and am very comfortable on this machine. As for the transmission, its not a automatic but an electric shift standard (same as the formula 1 race cars)and it works like a dream.
