Who makes a 6-pak rack for the 400EX that you don't have to chop up your quad or do any welding, and if there is such a thing, where can you get one? Thanks in advance!!

Armadillo makes a couple good ones that just bolt on. You can find them at www.rockymountainatv.com

I have a DG rack (available form White Bros.), that is great. Maier (also from WB) makes a universal rack, that is OK too. I use a rack only rarely, so I like the way these racks can be installed and removed very quickly, and without much fuss.

I've got the Armadillo Out'n Back Rack. It comes with a one gallon gas can, and not quite enough room for the new coleman tall cooler, I sledged it in, now it fits great. (I'm not kidding) At $79 it's a pretty good deal. The cooler is 8 bucks at Wal-Mart. I put a 2x6 across the top of the cooler and sledged it in, a week later it was compressed enough to pull in and out by hand, with a little wiggling.
The bungee is only needed to hold the lid down.
