I know I would never buy a Raptor... EX alllll the way!!!

I definately recommend buying a 400EX then boring out the engine to make it less reliable and the same speed as a Raptor, instead of buying a Raptor and putting on a wider axle so it handles as good as an EX. Sending out the engine to be bored is great fun and definately better than the horribly tough job of putting on an axle.

 

Dont be so touchy guys, everyones opinion is worth something. I have ridden both. I own three hondas, and I like the raptor. If i was gonna buy an MX machine though, i would say get the 440. But for trails or XC go with the raptor.

 

now this guy tells the truth, if only we could have a cross between the raptor and 400ex in production huh?

 

Actually, I'm glad we don't have a cross between the two in production. That would take alot of the fun out of modifying them.
