the Polaris cylinder does not bolt right on, however, it is alot less work to make the Polaris cylinder fit than the Pilot.

Yea but then you have Polaris parts on your R, what's next, a belt and some Macpherson struts?

Does anyone know if i can do the work myself to make the 250R bottom end fit the polaris 400 top end? Cause i would love to do that as a summer project next summer. Right now i'm currently completely rebuilding a stock 250R engine.....bottom end and all. So does anyknow know?

Thanks Pete. I'm not a big fan of those big bore contraptions. I doubt it would do any better an a MX track anyway compared to a good 250.

No one has answer my question yet........could i myself, take the 250R bottom end, and and polaris scrambler 400 top end, and make them fit together, and run smoothly, and still get all that power without stroking the crank?

that entirely depends on your skills as a machinist. if you would read above you'd see I said NO they do not just bolt together.
