Just got my new 2000 300EX four days ago. I love it!!!!

 

I've got a '93 300ex with K&N, dynojet, Maxxis rears, Fast Trekkers in front. It'll hang with both Scramblers, but can't beat the Warrior's 6th gear. Although in tight woodsy trails, I can beat them all and almost keep up with a Banshee. It jumps real nice, like landing on a marshmallow. Those heavy Scramblers is like jumping a couch. But if I had my 'druthers, I'd get a 400ex.

 

I have a 95 300ex. Dg baja skid plate, dg aluminum silencer with larger diameter head pipe, 130 jet and kn filter.

 

I DONT HAVE A 300EX BUT I AM LOOKING TO BUY A NEW ONE AROUND CHRISTMAS.

 

I have a 98 300EX with FMF MegaMax II, 11:1 compression piston, torque cam, holeshot rear tires, works dual rate steelers coming in.
Friend got kicked off but he has a 98 300ex w/same as me except for cam.

Just got it last weekend and am dying to get the break in over with so I can feel it out.

Any recommended mods to start with?

looking for skid plates and nerf bars if anyone knows of a supplier.
