need help with my new fmf megamax pipe for 300ex

i got the megamax II pipe for my 300ex and header pipe also and put it on the bike! runs great! i am also running all elevan baffles-my question is how does the baffles work-the less baffles the more power or loudness or how does it work! also today i dented the back plate of the pipe and a couple baffles-dennis kirk does not carry those items anymore!! does anyone know were to get new ones! one more thing-what jetting do i need to do the 300ex-were do i get the new jets and how do i put them in?

Hey Rob, I owned a 1995 300EX for almost 7yrs. Maybe I can help you out.
More baffles = more noise and more power (if you set your bike up right)
Whenever your bike breathes easier you'll get more performance. The
less baffles, the more restriction on your exhaust.
You'll will need to re-jet. Probably one size up on the main jet, maybe two. Don't let somebody talk you into a whole jet kit. You won't need it, my bike ran great.
Along with your pipe, put on a ported air box lid, Uni air filter (with on outerwears cover over it to keep more dust out of the motor. And the key to making my 300EX fly,(for a 300EX that is!) a one tooth larger than stock front sprocket. Without the sprocket the bike will seem like it needs a sixth gear.
All these things won't cost that much (under $80.00),but you'll love the difference in the bike.
