Glad to see the guy get up!
How could this have been avoided?

The biggest cause of an endo is where people get chicken and let up on the throttle. You need to stay on the throttle until you catch air to make sure that your front end stays up.

Read the label on the fender!!!

Seriously though, I wonder what happened to the quad that was following right behind him?

I was wondering the same thing.
I ran the tape and froze it play by play and from what I can tell he (the follower) didnt get any air on that jump and was probaly able to lock it up in time...

Oh and the helmet!
It looks like on a frame freeze you can see the helmet wedged in the shoulders from a straight vertical downward thrust PROBALY keeping his vertberae (neck bone) from collapsing.
GO HELMETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how that guy feels, I did the same thing on my Warrior a couple of years ago. I got right up from it, but I messed up my shoulder pretty bad and I had a cut on my forehead from the helmet. Needless to say, the quad didn't look too great afterwards.

It's sad. I am a big Netscape fan, or at least I have always supported Netscape as my way of remaining defiant to Bill gates Windoze monolith. But Netscape is having more and more trouble supporting the scripting and dynamic launching that is prevalant in today's operating environment.

Bottom line is that we all like looking at a mean endo
