It lets more air in and you shouldnt have to rejet. Personaly I think they are superior to a K&N because K&N are paper. You wont regret a UNI thats for sure!

I run a Uni filter on my 400EX, and I won't trade it for anything else. K&N filters are good. Don't get me wrong. I just had trouble with my K&N filter staying on the boot inside the airbox when I was on the MX track. Eventually, it became trashed, along with the Outerwears filter cover that was on it. I had a Uni filter that I used as a back-up filter. I just decided to run it instead. Now, I'm running it, and it seems much easier to take care of. It does a great job of stopping dirt, and letting air in. Just make sure you use a good foam filter oil. Just like Need4Speed said, "You wont regret a UNI thats for sure!" Good luck.

Need4speed, K&N are not paper, they are cotton gauze with oil on them.
