I don't know what it's like in the rest of the country, but here in So. Calif. they must be selling thousands of these. I'm seeing them everywhere. This weekend in Pismo they were like flies (they rent them there). All you in this forum who ragged on the little 250 when it first came out, have to admit this was a great business move by Honda! It will pay off too in the long run when these 250 riders upgrade to 400's.

I was at Pismo this last weekend too...helps that I only live about 45 minutes away. Anyway, I saw a lot of 250EX's there too...had to help one guy who had his rental lodged between a post and wire on one of the boundary fences. The only damage was to the front plastic though, but it was scratched up pretty good. I wonder how much the rental place charged him for that! *LOL* I too think the 250EX was a good move for Honda, and I'd consider one for my 12 year old son who needs to be upgraded from his TRX90, but I don't want to spend the money to buy a brand new one. Too bad they're so new that they're not available for sale on the private market--probably go with a nice 250X instead.
