Juust wondering which would be better for the 300EX's performance.these are the kind of conditions i live in.

mud
water
alot of dust
sand here and there

A K&N with a pre-charger gives the best performance. I use both the UNI and the K&N. The UNI is better for wet and muddy conditions, and the K&N with the pre-charger dry and sandy condition.

 

i would have to agree with kboss on that answer i have k&n and my buddy has the uni and they are both just about the opposit i would go with the k&n i found that it gave more performanc i would put the precharger on though if you are going in the mud or eany wet areas a lot the are not good to clean becouse the only are good to clean a couple of times because the are mad out of paper!!!!!!!!!!!!good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

My opinion only........ I prefer the UNI or the stock foam filter for mud and dusty conditions.
